Negin is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with a Ph.D. in Child Psychology from the University of Tehran. She further honed her skills as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Neuropsychological Assessments at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. Beginning her professional journey in 2012 at the Atieh Neuroscience Clinic in Tehran, Iran, Negin has amassed a wealth of experience in supporting families facing challenges with their children. Her approach is characterized by empathy, compassion, and an easygoing communication style, which enables her to establish a strong rapport with her clients and their families.

As a skilled professional working with children and families, Negin addresses a variety of behavioral, attentional, and social problems, as well as anxiety and fearfulness. She recognizes that learning differences can often lead to difficulties in various settings, such as home, school, and social interactions. During sessions, Negin takes a strengths-based approach, exploring what is working well and identifying specific concerns and issues to offer practical solutions for parents. She understands the crucial role that parents play in a child’s life and the demanding nature of parenting. As such, she works with the entire family to support them in improving their connection and communication, addressing individual needs, and providing emotional support. To assist families in achieving their goals, Negin offers a range of services, including child therapy, family therapy, and parent guidance.

Throughout her professional development, Negin has acquired a diverse range of expertise in evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), and play therapy. In particularly challenging cases, she employs case management strategies and collaborates with other healthcare professionals, educational institutions, and relevant organizations to ensure comprehensive support for children and families.
